i am so very tired

we spent all last week and all weekend moving. since it was only about four apartments down, we didn't really pack up anything. which is both easier and harder than normal moves. we had both apartments for a week, so that was a nice time frame. but for six days straight, all i did was pack up a box, walk down steps, walk over to the new place, walk up steps, unpack the box, and head back to the old apartment to do it all again. on saturday, after having watched us do this for a week, one of the neighbors yelled out to us, "how many more trips? about twenty?" i laughed and thought, "i only wish."

in the middle of all that, i've also started physical therapy. i don't remember if i told you that i was finally allowed to take off that awful brace. three months is too long to be wearing such a contraption. on the second day of pt, my therapist announced that she didn't think i got too much out of it the day before and was going to step it up a notch. i could barely walk out of there. and sadly, then go home to continue with the move. i didn't make too many trips that night.

i guess everyone needed to lounge after the move...

but that was all done as of sunday. monday morning, i got up way before dawn, hopped on a plane, and am currently in virginia. at least for a couple of more hours. i get to go home tonight; my plane lands at nearly tomorrow. i have pt tomorrow and friday at 7am. and then friday night i shall collapse. that is i guess if i can find the bed amongst the apartment moving mess.

on saturday, i have my first quiz in my spanish class. part of me absolutely does not care about the quiz. i'm completely not at all doing this for a grade. i'm doing it for the knowledge. however, i do think grades generally reflect knowledge. so i'm kind of in a conundrum of caring/not caring. andrew also has some tests coming up, so maybe we'll find some quality time to study together. seems like he might make a cute studybuddy. but i don't think there is an all night coffee shop in town and the all night video poker palance doesn't seem like it would be a good place to study...
