the early bird
for the first couple of weeks we lived here, we couldn't quite get used to the time change. kept waking up around 4am because that was 7am back in kentucky. and then along came new years eve and new years resolutions and the decision to take control of our health and workout more. working out before work seemed a natural fit since we weren't sleeping until the alarm went off anyway.
fast forward a month. we're still getting up early about three or four days a week but no longer before the alarm goes off. its more like after about three snooze hits. five am seems less and less like 8 am eastern time and more and more like an obscene time to get out of bed.
